But orcas actually end up running away without eating the prey, search for the rest of the video, pilot whales stay in the zone until whale totally dies and orcas never appear again, orcas never gonna stay in a site with pilot whales since they can die in a really painfull way for the screams of pilot whales... Actually, thats thebonly reason why orcas are afraid of pilot whales, the screams of pilot whales are under a specific frequency that makes the orca brain to go brrr and cause immense pain in the head, orcas can just run away from this, even if they try to reaist at first like in this one, this white whale end up being food of sharks in the full video.

I saw no cruelty nor brutality. The orcas were determined to feed themselves and the rest of their pod. With some types of orcas being in danger of extinction, this whole process is necessary. I think the pilot whales came along when the beaked whale was too far gone. Videos such as this do not bother me. Now videos of whale and dolphin hunting and orcas dying in captivity...that bothers me.

from what I've read and seen on YT, pilot whales drive away their orca cousins regularly. as in when pilot pods show up, orcas go silent and exit the area almost the same way white sharks vacate the area when orcas show up. I'm interested to learn more. with my current limited knowledge, I can only guess that orca are actually very cautious even when they enjoy serious size advantages over their prey, and pilot whales aren't much smaller than orca. and they also travel in pods. but iunno.
